Andy and Andy are a Gyaru and Gyaruo who are never seen without each other. From drawing to shopping to eating, they are two inseparable peas in a pod! Though, nobody is sure how they ended up finding each other. Or how the Universe allowed it, for that matter.

I've been telling him to wear more color! All black? Talk about being an edgy boy.

Background

Andy are two entities who act as one. They share the same hobbies, tastes, and everything else! Though, they do have minor differences in roles. While they don't have a set backstory, Andy (with the hairbow) is visibly more bubbly and cheerful, while Andy (with the fur trim) is often seen tired and nonchalant. Andy are typically placeholders for whatever the desired trope of the time is (IE: Cheerful x Edgy), so their history is made up based on the trope.

Concept

The concept behind Andy was to have an "open slate" character to put into whatever role and outfit I wanted. I genuinely have no set personality for them!

Andy's (The hairbow) outfit was bassed on one of my plain wigs, a Jersey Shore shirt that I cut to be an off-shoulder, and some jorts that I own that I also ended up cutting. I also cut some black leggings into shorts for the summer, which is how I got my leg warmers!

Andy (fur trim) is a bit different. The only thing of his that I actually own is the baggy Hollister cargo pants. I was obsessed with Hollister for a long time, which is the brand his style is primarily inspired by! His hair is also what mine looks like when I let it grow out lol

While they don't have a set backstory, Andy (with the flower hair clips) is visibly more bubbly and cheerful, while Andy (with the sherpa jacket) is often seen relaxed and chill. They don't have a set backstory in an established world or anything! They're a "make it up as you go" type of character!

Concept

The concept behind Andy (Manba) was based on my personal look seen as graphics around my website. I'm sure you've seen at least one of them if you visited the profile, but I love manba, neon colors, flowers and the beach! So why not manba-fy my blank slate characters!?

I originally drew Andy (flower clip) with a different wig I had, but it didn't really fit the whole "beach blonde" theme I was going for. After I styled my other wig—the blonde and pink one—I fell in love with it and decided to switch her hair out to that one. Andy's (the sherpa jacket) hair is based on my actual bleached hair!
